In the Folds

In the Folds is a collection of original oil paintings exploring our need for comfort, safety, privacy and retreat.

Through intimate, inward-looking compositions, Leanne uses fabric, pattern, colour and gesture to explore the tension between the demands of the outside world and the instinct to withdraw into a private space. Each work is both deeply personal and open to the viewer’s own interpretation.
