My Practice
I’m Leanne Pearce, a Newcastle-based artist working primarily in contemporary oil portraiture. My practice is centred on people — their stories, relationships and lived experiences.
Alongside my studio work, I create collaborative projects with families, communities and organisations, exploring how portraiture can connect people and bring individual stories into view.

Portraits with Purpose
Portraiture can be more than a likeness.
Portraits with Purpose brings together collaborative projects created with communities, families and organisations, using portraiture to share lived experiences, bring individual stories into view and create meaningful connections.
